Punjab Paddy

We haven’t posted the past couple of days because we had company staying with us– and we all went to a Gaelic Storm concert together.
Gaelic Storm is a modern Celtic band, and, well, they’re awesome. After the concert, they helped me settle a score with a friend:

They didn’t play it this year, but they have an Indian inspired tune, Punjab Paddy, and I think anyone who digs Bollywood can enjoy the line “You can call me Punjab Paddy, boys, I’m never comin’ home!” Don’t we wish. You can listen to the track here, and download it from Amazon.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a video of the band playing Punjab Paddy, but this a good one that shows the (cliche phrase alert!) high-energy concert experience. They’ve changed a few members, but Paddy Murphy’s the same as ever. This one’s for Salman:

You can download that track here.
